Wild Portals started off NYE 2018 watching Rezz lull us into the New Year. To celebrate the event we created a community Snapchat Lens for Rezz that quickly grew into a viral sensation. The effect was shared by Rezz on her social, leading to massive ROI as EDM blogs and websites shared the effect on their own front pages. The AR effects total reach resulted in over a million interactions in a 48 hour period. The following Rezz concert, 'Rezz Rocks' sold out in less than an hour.
To celebrate the premiere of the hit series 'His Dark Materials' Wild Portals was tasked by Poplar and the BBC to place fans into an aura borealis winter-scape, that transformed them into Iorek the polar bear. Over 80 hours of 3D design work and animations brought this majestic scene to life.
Working with Snap and Sony, Wild Portals created a cohesive themed Lens for the global release of Charlie's Angels (2019). Our effect was used in three countries exclusively, to help celebrate the premiere.
